Loan applications made easier!


As a result of listening to our Members' feedback and having joined the Irish Credit Bureau (ICB), we are delighted to announce that the requirement for supporting documents required for certain loan applications has been significantly reduced.

We trust this will make applying for a loan simpler in future and we thank all our members for their feedback and on-going support.

New loans available to members


St. Patrick’s Credit Union is delighted to announce the launch of three new loan products to meet members’ specific financial needs.

• Educational Loan - to help members pay for ongoing educational costs. 
• Consolidation Loan - to help members clear expensive external debt such as credit cards and bank loans. 
• Restructure Loan - to help members as above and also restructure their current credit union loan.

Important notice regarding cheques


AIB Bank is St. Patrick’s Credit Union (ESB Staff) Ltd.’s bank. From the 2nd January 2013 AIB has changed the way in which it handles cheques: 

Cashing cheques:

AIB will no longer cash ‘crossed’ cheques. For security reasons, all the cheques we issue are ‘crossed’; therefore, members will no longer be able to cash cheques in any AIB branch.
